Designed for a man AND a woman!

Our clients spend a lot of time in their shop and spending that time together is important to both of them. They often entertain family and friends here and wanted to develop an entertainment/kitchen area that was modern, functional, and worked with the Man Cave theme. The result is a sleek, modern kitchen that’s roomy and functional.

This fantastic project was finished to our clients’ exacting design ideas. The large, L-shaped island includes lower area seating, bar area seating and a large work area with a sink. The bar counter – a ‘leather finish’ granite, was built to create visual interest in the kitchen. The monochromatic colour scheme flows throughout the entire project.

To display memorabilia and collectibles that the owner has gathered over his lifetime, a ‘floating’ shelf was designed to accommodate these items and flow from the shop area through to the kitchen, matching the crown molding over the cabinets. With sleek, clean lines this kitchen is modern and roomy – allowing for excellent traffic flow, especially while entertaining. A polished cement floor keeps the industrial theme and contrasts nicely with the décor and functional areas.
