Another average bungalow turned exciting entertaining home! This bungalow really needed some energy. With an attached front deck and small covered patio, the presentation was busy and lacking curb appeal.  The owners wanted a huge entertainment space along with exterior improvements and updates.

By doing a full buildover on the whole roof, we were able to construct a new party room plus a covered deck and a brand new entry. The deck has a sloping ramp to make access to this gorgeous home easy for anyone! Our owners are smart cookies – they were looking ahead to retirement and what they may need in the future. A build-out of the roof provides two roof peaks, more covered deck area and creates excellent design appeal for the front of the home.

The party room was constructed on a huge, stamped concrete slab floor with in-floor radiant heating. A massive, wood burning stone fire place is finished in natural stone which carries through to the timber-frame pillars and exterior finishing. Firewood is handily stored adjacent to the party room for easy access.

With the pretty side-lite and speakeasy door grille, this uniquely designed front entry door is a fabulous way to greet guests into the home. Come in through this door and enter the party room through additional French doors and step into party central! It boasts a huge fireplace, a pizza oven, an indoor barbecue area, a bar and more. You can even open the front wall of doors and have an indoor/outdoor patio area.

What a fun project and an amazing home to spend time in with friends and family! Hope the owners have a lot of time on their hands because everyone’s going to want to visit and enjoy a great meal at a great home!
